Windermere Townhomes-Southbridge Village is 13 miles (21 km) West-Southwest of downtown Orlando. It is 1/2 of a mile East of Lake Speer and sits on the Western side of Lake Smith. There is a lot of new townhome construction going on in Windermere. That of course means there are many new townhomes for sale. The Town of Windermere 

Windermere is famous for several things. Many beautiful homes for sale, various new shops and restaurants to choose from, its' local freshwater lakes, the Butler Chain of lakes, famous residents, great golf and the nearby theme parks. About Southbridge Village

Southbridge Village consists of just under 100 townhomes.20 homes could be considered waterfront homes because they overlook the pond or Lake Smith. Most of these townhouses were built in 2007. Normally there are 1-2 townhomes for sale here. I do believe the community gets to use the pool at Merrick Landing. Which is just walking distance (100 yards) from Southbridge Village.

Local Public Schools 

Keenes Crossing Elementary, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.

Southbridge Village's Market History

In the past 6 months 5 townhomes for sale have sold (Some homes for sale do not). The lowest priced home sold for $205,000 and the highest priced townhome sold for $225,000. The highest priced home for sale to have ever sold was $345,000. However, the median sales price for the last 6 months has been $215,000. Up to date info available upon request.
