Oasis Cove Windermere FL is a townhome community in Windermere Florida. Oasis Cove is a gated community located on the Southwestern side of Windermere Florida. Its’ main entrance is on Reams Rd about 1.2 miles from the center of Lake Reams. If you are not from this area Oasis Cove is about 1 ¾ miles North-northeast of Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Oasis Cove consists of 269 townhomes. This is a gated community and it is well maintained. Originally this was built by Ryland Homes. Ryland Homes merged with Standard Pacific to become CalAtlantic which was actually voted builder of the year in 2016. I would expect that the homes in Oasis Cove are as good as any townhomes in this area. The Amenities are good and there are some great exercise trails around the community and its’ large pond. There is a nice amenities center and pool centrally located. The Video below shows the amenities and so does the slideshow above.
There are a lot of changes in this portion of Windermere. The land has recently opened up for a couple of newer communities. Normally more homes will bring more shopping opportunities. Right now, Oasis Cove is only a few minutes from several choices. I would probably go to Lakeside Village. Soon I would be going to Independence. There are more newer places coming there already. Lakeside does have many of the things you will be needing. Even a pet store, Publix Supermarket, Beauty Salon, restaurants and a gas station. That is just a short list.
Oasis Cove Blvd. Water View
As you enter the community you will approach a round-about and the amenities center. You will also see the large central pond. If you take your first exit you will be on Oasis Cove Blvd. There are 18 townhomes here which overlook the pond and for the most part the pool area. These townhomes vary in size from approximately 1,232 sf. to 2,074 sf. of living area (not garage spaces). In the previous two years 3 have sold for an average price of $217,000. Keep in mind of course HOA and Maintenance fees.
Sparkling Cove Ln. and Enchantment Dr.
At the Northern end of Oasis Cove Blvd. if you turn right you will have homes on your left and right hand side. Those on your left back up to what is now a preserve. Thankfully there is a very wealthy person who lives in that preserve. It may stay a preserve for quite some time. The homes on the preserve vary in size from 1,232 sf. to 2,473 sf. of living space. In the previous year 15 of these homes have sold for an average of approximately $220,000
Sparkling Cove Ln., Enchantment Dr., Luminous Ln. and Oasis Springs Ln.
Central Area Not Waterview or Preserve
There are quite a few homes that have no view of the pond or pool. These homes are community homes not having any special surroundings. They would be advertised as Oasis Cove townhomes not water view etc. These homes were built in sizes from 1,232 sf. to 2,046 sf. of living area. These homes were built between 2007 and 2011. In the last year they have averaged $216,500.
Desert Haven St.-Reams Rd.
Oasis Cove has quite a few townhomes which back up to Reams Rd. These homes are on the South and West side of Desert Haven St. Thankfully the community has plenty of sidewalks and areas you can cut through to get to the pool and amenities center. These homes vary in sizes from approximately 1,373 sf. to 2,193 sf. of living space. Homes in the last year have sold for prices ranging from $189,000 to $222,000. There are some units with 3 full baths.
Serenity Spring Dr.
On the Northwestern end of oasis Cove there are some townhomes on the preserve. These are the furthest from the amenities center but you can get there on the sidewalk by just walking along the side of the pond. However, some people would prefer to be closer to the pool etc. These homes range in size from approximately 2,028 sf. to 2,179. In the previous year only 2 have sold and they averaged $224,000.
Oasis Cove Blvd. and Serenity Spring Dr. Water View.
These are the homes I would prefer to have. I just like living on the water. I also like the pool and jogging so there you have it. These townhomes when for sale vary in size from approximately 1,343 sf. to 2,028 sf. of living area. In the last year the average price has been $225,000 and one sold for $255,000.
Desert Haven St., Mystic View Way, Oasis Cove Blvd., Serenity Spring Dr. and Tranquility Way.
Lie the other side of the community the West side has a lot of homes that neither back up to the preserve, Reams Rd. or the pond. This is the largest part of Oasis Cove. The homes in this portion vary in size from approximately 1,000 sf. to 2,179 sf. of living area. These homes have sold for prices ranging from $230,000 to $245,000 in the last year. The average was just under $235,000.
