Homes For Sale in Tampa FL

North Tampa is the rural portion of the city. People who move here usually do so because you can get more house for your money or they just don't want the busier city life. If that is you then all is well. The nicest community is no doubt Avila but there are many more. No matter how far north in Tampa you want to live you can most likely find a great home and community there. You will still have some traffic but it will not be near as bad and instead of a skyline you will see many tree lines. yes North Tampa has a lot of trees, gated communities, lakes and beautiful homes. Maybe this is the best place to live in Tampa for you.

Downtown Tampa

Tampa has an extremely vibrant and culturally rich downtown area. Channel Side is the home of the cruise ships or at least where they re-supply and load up with new passengers. You can expect to find all of the touristy things you would expect such as shops, restaurants and beautiful condos. Many people choose this part of town because of their love of the city and their choice of condo life. Water Street is just around the corner and it is going through a major over hall. Soon it will be completed and trust me it is incredible. A lot of investment has poured into Water Street and it looks like it. If you want to live on Water Street in a luxury condo you will need to bust out that checkbook because they are not inexpensive.

Davis Islands and Harbour Island

Just south of Water Street is is Harbour Island. Harbour Island is a fairly affordable place to live and most of it is behind gates. You can only see the northernmost portion of the island unless you can pass through the gated entrance. If you like gated communities then why not live on a gated island? Behind those gates you may find the best places to live in Tampa.

The other main attraction southwest of Downtown Tampa is Davis Islands. Many of Tampa's finest homes are located here and many famous people have lived here. Not only are homes on the water around the island but also on the canal that passes in and nearly through the island. You can easily get caught up in the classy charm of this island. Traffic flows fairly well and there are some hidden gems here I will leave to be discovered later.

South Tampa FL

South Tampa FL has a lot of great places to live and is probably my favorite part of the city. Below are just a few of the most exceptional areas to live. If I were to say much about them this page could go on forever. Just trust me, I picked the best areas and I was there just yesterday. Land in any of those places and you have done well and you will most likely be pleased with the schools. The traffic? Maybe not so much but still more than worth it. On Bayshore Blvd you have some incredible condos to choose from. Why a condo? Think 3,000 square feet, maybe the entire floor and looking over Hillsborough Bay at sunrise and at the iridescent glow of the Tampa Skyline at night. Yes If I could pick Bayshore Blvd and South Tampa are definitely on the list of the best places to live in Tampa FL.
