Having a trained professional assist you along the way will potentially save you some heartache or disappointment. The Cycle

We all know it is coming. There is just a cycle that the market goes through. Sooner or later home prices get to high and interest rates either go to high for people to pay the price or they go so low because that is the only way people can afford the homes. Then ultimately the market will adjust. When the banks have very few foreclosures on hand they are stingy. When the amount of foreclosures they have goes up they allow short sales more often and lower the prices on the properties they are holding. Either way this can be a great way to pick up a home for investors or even the frugal home buyer.

Right now there are very few townhomes in foreclosure. The market for townhomes is actually growing. Included in the link above are the homes described as villas, duplexes and townhomes. Please keep in mind that these homes are not traditional purchases and are slightly more difficult.
