Berkshire Place is 13.1 miles (21.1 km) West-Southwest of downtown Orlando. It is 1 km North of Lake Reams and 1 /14 miles East of Lake Hancock. There is a lot of new construction going on in Windermere. Both townhomes and single family homes are being built. That of course means there are many new homes for sale. The town of Windermere 

Windermere is famous for several things. Many beautiful homes for sale, various new shops and restaurants to choose from, its' local freshwater lakes, the Butler Chain of lakes, famous residents, great golf and the nearby theme parks. Locally it is also admired for its' good schools and the newly constructed Windermere High School. When you are looking at houses for sale anywhere in the Windermere area you may rest assured. After buying a home in Lake Sawyer South or Berkshire Place if you are sitting around with nothing to do it is by choice.

About Lake Sawyer South

Lake Sawyer South consists of numerous townhomes. They are mingled in with Berkshire Place and Berkshire Park subdivisions. That is a good thing. From what I have been told  you can use the Berkshire park community pool etc. The Bad news is normally there are no homes for sale here. If you see one below then contact me and lets go see it. Otherwise try one of the townhome communities on the list.

Local schools

Sunset Park Elementary, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.

Lake Sawyer South market history

In the past 6 months 8 townhomes for sale have sold (Some homes for sale do not). The lowest priced townhome sold for $175,000 and the highest priced townhouse sold for $220,000. The highest priced townhouse for sale to have ever sold was $220,000. However, the median sales price for the last 6 months has been $215,000.

For the HOA expect around $414 per 3 months. It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
