Walt Disney World, Universal Studios And SeaWorld Orlando are what Orlando is best Known for. Downtown Orlando Florida is best known for Lake Eola Park. Lake Eola Park has a lot to do with why Orlando's known as "City Beautiful". But yet there is so much more here.
Once you visit Orlando Florida you will find many more than four theme parks which most people can name? Can you name all four? Since Orlando is the theme park capitol let's start there. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld Orlando plus Icon Park where you will find the Wheel at Icon Park. International Drive is slightly less known. Most locals will simply refer to it as I Drive. That is where you will very easily see the Wheel At Icon Park, Madame Tussauds Orlando and many entertainment attractions and other smaller theme parks. Within a very short drive of Orlando Florida you will also find Legoland Florida, Peppa Pig and a massive Botanical Garden near Winter Haven FL.
Orlando has 3 main shopping malls which it is most well known for. The Florida Mall, Mall at Millenia and Florida Outlet Mall. The city's population is enough to support the malls in the Orlando area and some of the other smaller Orlando attractions. Like the Orlando Museum, Downtown Orlando Museum, Sea Life Orlando Aquarium, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, The many famous golf courses in the Orlando region and smaller water parks in Orange County. I say smaller, but still very large water parks.
Famous Theme Parks Parts & Names To Be Familiar With Before You Visit Orlando. Disney Springs, Jurassic Park, Space Mountain, Universal Studios Florida and Wizarding World of Harry Potter will get you started.
Downtown Orlando is much nicer than you think. Performing arts, nightlife Lake Eola Park, the beautiful Orlando Skyline and just so much more. Winter Park FL which is on the north side of Orlando is also worth looking at along with College Park (named for a reason) and Baldwin Park all nearby Downtown Orlando.
Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach are all within an hour or so of the city of Orlando.
