Yes Orlando is a beautiful city. Orlando Florida's nickname is "The City Beautiful" and it is well deserved. Downtown Orlando has lake Eola Park and the dazzling Orlando skyline. Orlando International Airport is the airport to use in Central Florida and yes it too is beautiful.

If you are visiting Orlando Florida an not just doing a theme park hit and run style visit then you will be missing out if you do not visit downtown Orlando. It is truly the jewel of Orange County Florida and the Orlando downtown skyline looks amazing over Lake Eola and Lake Eola Park. Especially at night between 8 and 9 PM when there is a choreographed light show. Not as good as the light show in Disney World but free for thousands in the city of Orlando to see.

You name it, Orlando's restaurants, parks, performing arts, shops, theme parks and professional sports teams are more than worth visiting. Orlando's residents consider all of these family friendly and as good as any in the country or nation. Compared to the ones in Orange County FL, we are The City Beautiful. Just come to Lake Eola Park during one of the events like the weekly Orlando Farmer's Market and see the massive turnout. Make some new friends, bring your children and take advantage of what is offered by the locals.

Beginning in February and lasting through summer and fall the many lakes in Orange County come to life. A quick drive around Windermere FL and you will see what I mean. The cities in the Greater Orlando area are hosts to hundreds of million dollar homes and amazing golf courses. Some of the finest in the country are in Orlando and Windermere.

Choose a city, make it your next hometown. Maybe Winter Park is right for you. You will find it on the north side of downtown Orlando along with Baldwin Park. Two great places to live each with their own unique style and beauty.

Walt Disney World & Universal Studios

You know I had to get around to them. My favorite place in Orlando is actually Volcano Bay. Central Florida has no finer beach nor more family friendly one. Visit it, you will see what I mean. It is my favorite theme park. Where are these parks? Just south of downtown Orlando and about 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport. How can someone not think this is a phenomenal city with Walt Disney World being here?
