Yes Orlando is a fun city to live in. Not only is Orlando the theme park capital but there are lots of things to do here outside of the theme parks. Let's face it they can get expensive. Orange County Florida and the city of Orlando know that and so there are plenty of parks for residents to visit. Lake Eola in downtown Orlando is a prime example of a park done right.
Walt Disney World is the largest draw in Central Florida. Over 58 million people visit Walt Disney World each year. That is absolutely amazing and makes Disney World the most visited them park in the world. Can 58 million people be wrong? Well yes, but in this case I will agree that people should visit it at least once if at all possible. Just the building and maintenance of it are awe inspiring.
Inside of Walt Disney World the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is one of the top attractions & possibly the greatest draw for people around the world. There are basically four theme parks and a couple of water parks inside of all things Disney. Rumor has it there is another upcoming massive expansion.
Living in Orlando sooner or later Orlando residents visit or drive by just about all of the major theme parks. You will see the world's tallest swing ride signs for Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures and every amusement park on Highway 192, International Drive and Interstate-4. Orlando Florida is huge but over time it shrinks.
Right off of the west side of Interstate 4 and north of Walt Disney World you will see this massive Volcano. Have no fear, the city is safe. This volcano is the most amazing and well thought out water park in the nation. If you visit Orlando for family fun or with your special someone make sure you visit this world famous water park. Hot summers in Orlando Florida will never be the same.
Right next to Volcano Bay is Universal Studios and Universal Orlando Resort. Hmmm where should you stay? What I am not mentioning is Restaurant Row just 2 miles away where you can dine on international cuisine and have around 100 of the best restaurants for the entire family to enjoy.
Here is where I list a bunch of attractions for you to google search. They will help you prioritize your time. Fun Spot America, Orlando Starflyer, Seaworld Orlando, Seminole Aerial Adventures, The Wheel At Icon Park and if you get bored any Orlando Museum.
Sure Orlando has some popular theme parks. But what about the City Beautiful? While you are here some evening or if you rent a hotel in downtown Orlando walk over to Lake Eola Park. It is gorgeous in the evening and the light show usually starts about 8 PM. A quick walking tour of the park and you will begin to get a taste for Orlando. If you get the chance visit the Orlando Farmer's Market at Lake Eola. Then back to Orlando International Airport, to your far away home and visit us online to plan your move here.
