Lake Roberts is one of the Lakes in Windermere Fl. Lake Roberts is a beautiful 116-acre lake located between Lake Crescent and the Winter Garden Village Shopping Complex. Although it is not considered among the Butler Chain of Lakes it could easily be described as the best kept secret in Windermere. There are only 3 communities on its shores and all of the homes, and the lake are magnificent.
On Lake Roberts’ southeastern shore is the Windermere Club Lake Roberts Court. There are only 12 lakefront homes or lots in this community. They all overlook beautiful sunsets. On the western bank is Waterford Point. Waterford Point is another luxury home community and has 36 lakefront homes enjoying the sunrise. There are a few homes on Lake Roberts which are not in a subdivision. These homes have a long enough lineage to have been here before the surrounding communities. Also, Lake Roberts Landing is on the northern bank and has 9 homes on the lake.
There is a total of 2 boat ramps and 2 community piers. One of the boat ramps is on private property and is unpaved. The other is in Waterford Point at their community park/community center. It is actually very nice but you must have a residence there to use it. This keeps boat traffic to a minimum and adds a great deal of value to the homes. Normally if someone is on the lake you are their neighbor and they will likely be respectful of the lake. This may be why the lake is still so beautiful. On average the lake is only 15 feet deep and it measures 3,100 feet north to south and 1,200 feet wide at the narrowest point.
Lake Roberts is a lovely lake and there is very little traffic on McKinnon Road. Combine that with the lake being difficult to see and you have a secluded million-dollar hideaway. This one happens to be within minutes of the Winter Garden Village and the Daniel Webster 429. Just another one of the incredible lakes in Windermere Fl.
