Local Shopping from Windermere Sound has several choices. For groceries or simple everyday items, the Lakeside Shopping Village or Cornerstone at Publix will be your best bet. Both are within just a few minutes of the community. The notable difference is there is a gas station and immediate care facility at Lakeside to the communities east.

Windermere Sound has homes that are waterfront and water view. There are 5 large ponds in this community. The waterfront homes are on Strode Ln., Fordson Ln. and Fairgrove Ave.

The homes in this neighborhood were built in sizes ranging from approximately 1,912 square feet to 3,956 square feet of living space. The first homes here were built in 2014. Many of the traditional homes have parking in the rear but many do not.

Windermere Sound's townhomes

If you are interested in one of the townhomes you may want a view of the amenities center or maybe one of the ponds. The townhomes with the view of the pool and tennis courts are located on Calderdale Ave. There are no waterfront townhomes however there are some water view townhomes. They are located on Gracehill Ln or Fairgrove Ave on the Southeastern corner of Windermere Sound. Tattant Blvd is now open and provides a shortcut to and from Winter Garden Vineland Rd.

The townhomes in Windermere Sound were built in sizes ranging from approximately 1,600 square feet to 2,000 square feet of living area. The first townhomes were built in 2014. The townhomes have the garages in the rear of the home. There is also parking along the streets.
