Weldona is a community of homes both on and near Lake Weldona. Lake Weldona is a small lake having a surface area of 7.5 acres. Lake Weldona is Northeast of Lake Lancaster and Southeast of downtown Orlando Florida.

Weldona is a small community of homes consisting of approximately 30 and half of those homes are lakefront or lake view homes. This is a very established part of Orlando and the homes are often over 50 years old. Some of them have been replaced with newer homes and because price is often location driven do not guess without seeing the homes. Often the older homes are renovated and it may be difficult to guess.

Commuting

Lake Weldona is in a good location for commuting. It is only a couple of miles from downtown Orlando or Interstate 4. Obviously depending on your work or need to go location your route will vary greatly. Some of the common destinations are fairly easy to reach depending on your timing. Since Weldona is centrally located it will provide you with a great home to commute from regardless of destination.

Local Shopping

Local shopping will probably be done on Curry Ford Road. There is a Winn Dixie about one mile from the community and many other shops, stores and restaurants in the same vicinity. If you prefer Conway Plaza is just one more mile down Curry Ford Rd. and it has a Publix and several other stores. This is Orlando and everything will be reasonable close to your home.
