Isleworth is a community of under 400 homes in Windermere Florida. The primary purpose of this article will be a description of the lakefront homes in Isleworth. Isleworth has lakefront homes on Lake Butler, Lake Louise, Lake Palmer (Lake Isleworth), Lake Chase, Lake Blanche and Lake Bessie. Some will notice that Lake Tibet is excluded but that is because only the Isleworth Club, boat ramp etc. is actually on Lake Tibet.
First let’s start with lake Butler. Lake Butler has Isleworth Country Club Dr., Laurel Valley Drive and Giffin Ct. Giffin Ct. has 3 lakefront homes, Laurel Valley Dr. has 5 lakefront homes on it and Isleworth Country Club Dr. has 6 lakefront homes. This is some very exclusive real estate.
Back in 2011 one of these homes sold for 2.2 million. Since then they have only gone up in value. What is commonly referred to as Shaq’s house is likely to bring around 20,000,000+ someday. Most of the homes are slightly under $5,000,000 if you go by their sales history. There have been attempts at more and I think the right buyer will eventually come along smashing the record. Several of the homes are over 10,000 square feet.
Lake Louise is slightly west and south of Chase Road. Isleworth has homes on both the east and west bank of Lake Louise. There are 14 on Lake Louise Cove Dr. which is on the western side of the lake. The Eastern bank has 13 lakefront homes/home sites on Walzer Way, Walzer Ct. and Lake Louise Dr. These homes will normally sell for 1.5 to nearly 9 million dollars. The lower priced homes are normally on the western bank. As a side note all of the Isleworth entrances are both guarded and gated.
Lake Isleworth or Lake Palmer has 14 lakefront homes on it. I hasten to call one of them a home. It is phenomenally large. Most of the homes are on Lake Isleworth Ct. and Deacon Circle. A couple of these homes have sold for slightly over one million. Lately the lakefront homes have become scarcer and more expensive. A couple on lake Isleworth have sold for up to nearly $7,000,000.
Lake Chase has 16 lakefront homes. There are several lake view homes that have great views of the course and lake but are not lakefront. It would really aggravate the players if the homes build docks across the course. One of the homes located on the eastern side of Lake Chase has no public records. I am somewhat familiar with it and it may be in that $20,000,000 club someday. Most of the homes on lake chase are on Payne Stewart Dr. of Deacon Circle. If you buy one of these homes just know that they have sold for up to nearly $9,000,000. The last time one sold for under one million was 2014.
Lake Bessie is a landlocked lake. She also has some tremendously expensive homes on her shores. Although Isleworth is not only the only community on her shores it definitely has the nicest homes. On the western shore there is Latrobe Dr., Chestnut Ridge Dr. and Champions Point Rd. On the southwestern shore is Fairway Oaks Dr. and Wentworth Ct. In total there are 25 lakefront homes on those streets. Homes have attempted to sell here for over $12,000,000. Obviously most are less expensive.
Lake Blanch is the most modern of the Isleworth lakefront community. The Northeastern side is almost all under construction. These homes will all sell for over $4,000,000. They have both privacy and a great lake to oversee. Not to mention the most contemporary construction and designs available. Having a home built in Isleworth is normally around $330 per square foot and up plus land if you can find it.
