The community is located just 3 miles south of the Lakeside Village in Windermere Florida. The Lakeside Village is likely where you will do a lot of your local shopping. There is a lot more there and it is not as hectic as the shopping location to your south. To the south of the community about 3 1/2 miles you get into the Disney area and there is a much greater variety of shopping but more traffic. Sometimes worth it if you are craving a specific restaurant or shopping mall.

This is not a gated community but it is a very nice one. The view of the lake is very nice and yes you can experience the fireworks that Disney fires every night from this community. They are launched just under 3 miles due west across the lake behind the townhomes.
