Black Lake Park is located on the Western side of Winter Garden Vineland Rd. and the Northeastern shore of Black Lake. For those not from or familiar with this area the community is 12.6 miles West of downtown Orlando. It is not connected to Black Lake Preserve but you can see the Black Lake Preserve site here
Black Lake Park is a gated community with 2 entrances. The main entrance is very wide and easily noticed. The other is a little less noticeable but hard to miss. It is just North of the larger entrance. This is a community of approximately 278 homes. The community has a very nice central Park area and amenities. There is a community pool, gazebo, pergolas, full sized basketball court, tennis court and one of Black Lakes few boar ramps. All of which are in the slideshow.
Black Lake is a 212-acre lake and it is connected to Lake Tilden by a passable canal. Black Lake is also connected to Johns Lake but it is not a passable canal due to not having a bridge on Avalon Rd. This keeps the boat traffic down and makes Black Lake a more private lake. It is more than large enough for watersports of any kind.
The homes in Black Lake vary in size from 1,695 square feet to 4,398 square feet of living space. The community’s homes were built between 2005 and 2008. Florida law mandates a 10-year transferrable structural warranty on new construction homes so I always mention the homes date of construction.

Local Shopping will likely be the Winter Garden Village but there are options. There is a Publix Supermarket 1.3 miles North on Winter Garden Vineland Rd. There are many stores on W Colonial Dr. and it goes all of the way to downtown Orlando FL. At the Winter Garden Village there is a Target Supercenter, Best Buy, Pet Smart, Lowes Hardware and ½ of a square mile of restaurants, stores and parking. I go there almost daily to the LA Fitness.
The Daniel Webster Western Beltway is minutes away. It is known as the 429 and it is a toll road that will get you to downtown Orlando in 20 minutes or to Universals Orlando Resort in the same. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is within 30 minutes and very easy to get to from Black Lake Park. Winter Garden is an incredible city with much to offer.
