Windermere Terrace contains a total of 105 homes. 66 homes in the Overstreet section (West Side) and 39 homes in the section on the north side of The Lakes of Windermere (East Side). The west side was built in 2013 and 2014 by Pulte Homes. Pulte Homes is based in Atlanta and builds homes in most of the nation. In fact, they have been in business since 1950. To have survived that long they must build homes in good locations and of a good quality. The reason all of the communities surrounding this one were built is the great location.
The Public Schools for Windermere Terrace are Sunset Park Elementary School, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. I highly suggest you always confirm that information. You can do it by calling 407-317-3233 or by visiting OCPS.net I use the map feature, always confirm if it is important and ask about scheduled rezoning.
Local Shopping for necessities from Windermere Terrace is a breeze. You can simply drive up Ficquette Road to the Cornerstone Publix Supermarket a little over 1 mile away or the Lakeside Shopping Village 2.3 miles South. Lots of new stores are on their way across from the Cornerstone Publix. The bulldozing just started. The only real difference is there is a gas station at Lakeside.
Windermere Terrace does have a community swimming pool located on the East side of its Western section off of Overstreet Rd. It is a smaller pool but has parking and I have seen people using it often.
