Watermark is a non-gated Meritage Homes Winter Garden Fl community located on Summerlake Groves St. and Seidel Rd. Watermark has two different locations. One on the West side of Huckleberry Lake and the East side of Panther Lake. The second smaller part is on the South side of Seidel Rd on the North side of Lake Lartigue.

Watermark is a new community with stunning views and amenities. There are ten lakefront homes on Lake Lartigue and there are three ponds with 18 homes which could be described as waterfront homes. There are no lakefront homes on Lake Huckleberry. The Preserve is between the community and the lake. There are some great lake views. Panther Overlook is very nice and there is good Watermark overlook of Lake Huckleberry with nearby parking on Seidel Road. Lake Lartigue has an area which it can be enjoyed by residents as well.
Watermark has many large open areas and some fantastic amenities. The amenities have to be great in this area because the competition for your business if fairly high. Apparently, this neighborhood decided to be competitive.
There are two tennis courts that have two entrances. The entrance in the pool area is usually unlocked and the one on the community road is secured. Residents have access. The courts are the nice textured type and look as good as new. Plus, you have the convenience of the amenities center next to them.
The community swimming pool is as nice as anyone’s. It has a fantastic children’s area with a wading area and a nice splash park. The video below shows the splash from the 20 gallon bucket on top. The pool is also large enough to accommodate quite a few people. There are nice lounge chairs and even hammocks. The Southern side of the pool has a very nice pergola and covered area with a fireplace. It will be very nice in the cooler months.
There is a large children’s playground on the South side of the pool. It is enclosed and has plenty of room. The surface is wood chips not dirt or sand. There is also a large blue tarp covering a portion of it to keep those who need a break from the sun content. Once again, the convenience of the large amenities center is right next to you. There is a large open field next to the playground for those needing a little more room.
Directly across from the amenities center/clubhouse there is a very large open area and a fountain. At the other end of this open area is the Watermark stage. It is covered and I am sure the community will find uses for it. There is also a large open are in Grand Terrace. That is the portion of Watermark closest to Lake Huckleberry.
The schools for this neighborhood are scheduled to be Independence Elementary, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. You can confirm that it has not changed here.

There already all of the store within 5 miles you will likely need. North on Summerlake Groves St 3.6 miles and you can shop at Publix Supermarket, Walmart or one of the many new shops boutiques or services being built.
The Daniel Webster 429 is extremely convenient. It can be accessed to go South or return from South just to the communities East. To Go North on it simply head North on Summerlake Groves as if you are heading to Publix and the 429 is just past it. The Daniel Webster can get you downtown Orlando in about 25 minutes from New Independence Parkway’s access (by Walmart).
