Townhomes offer a great go between for people who just do not need that much space, or are just not wanting to spend as much money on their property or time mowing grass. I know there are others. Soon Waterleigh and Watermark will have many more townhomes and there are even apartments and new schools scheduled to be built near them. You can easily find a townhome community within just a few minutes of where ever you want to live in Winter Garden. If access to the highway is important that is covered also. Granted many of the smaller homes being built are competition for local townhomes for sale or rent.
Yes townhomes with downstairs bedrooms do exist in this area. People request these for a number of reasons. Often a visiting relative may have difficulty with stairs or the owner just has a preference for other reasons. When looking for your new townhome, before visiting communities there are a couple of things to contemplate. Location and amenities seem to drive the market. Many townhomes will offer both parking in a street or parking lot and a garage space. For those of us who spend way to much on cars this is important. Local knowledge is very important when you are shopping outside of the area. Things like school traffic in your area of interest, width of the roads that people park in etc. Those things can really be an inconvenience.
