 The Reserve at Belmere in Windermere FL often has homes for sale. The Reserve at Belmere is a private gated community located north of Windermere Town on Maguire Road. This is a large community yet has only two entrances. The entrance on Maguire Road is located ¼ of a mile north of the Park Ridge Gotha Rd. and ¾ of a mile south of Roberson Rd./Moore Rd.

The east entrance you should use if visiting the community for the first time. It is guarded and the western gate uses only electronic admittance. The western gate can be found ½ of a mile south of Roberson Rd.

The Reserve at Belmere is the nicest community in north Windermere FL. It is very well maintained, beautifully landscaped and has some of the most beautiful tree coverage around. The amenities are just right and the HOA has its’ act together.

Lake Whitney

Lake Whitney is a center piece in this community. Lake Whitney has a surface area of a little over 40-acres and adds some spectacular views to the lakefront homes in this neighborhood. The amenities center or as some would call it the clubhouse is located on the shoreline of Lake Whitney. There are some beautiful lakefront homes on it as well. The Reserve at Belmere also has 10 ponds and Lake Rhea providing waterfront or water view to the homes.

The amenities center has its’ own parking lot and room for about 9 cars plus a handicapped parking spot. The clubhouse is actually a well equipped fitness center that overlooks the community pier and Lake Whitney. Located at this same location is a jungle gym or as some would call it a “tot lot”, a beachfront style volleyball court, 2 tennis courts a basketball court and the community pier.

Viewing And Purchasing

The lake is gorgeous and I never go to this community without walking out on the pier and just enjoying the view. Since the lake and water views are such an integral part of the Windermere area I suggest you do the same. This is an incredible location and you can find a great home.
