The town of Ocoee 

If you live outside of this area you may not have heard of Gotha. You may just be looking at homes for sale here because of it's proximity to your work, highway access or Orlando. You will be pleasantly surprised with Gotha and Ocoee. It actually has its own mall and everything you will ever need is close by. If you want to travel to Orlando, the parks, the famous lakes in this area or jump over to the East or West coast The Oaks of Windermere community in Gotha is a great place to start from. This community is actually directly across the street from Ocoee. Geographically it makes since to combine them for housing purposes.

About The Oaks of Windermere

The Oaks of Windermere consists of 73 homes. 21 homes could be considered waterfront homes because they overlook the central pond and fountain. This is a small but beautiful community. Normally there is 1 home for sale here. There is no community pool. However many of the homes do have pools. Ocoee Park is very close and has an excellent children's playground.

The homes range in size from 2,306 sf. to well over 3,700 sf. That does not include garages etc. Most of them were built between 2001 and 2003.

Local public schools 

Thornebrooke Elementary, Gotha Middle School and Olympia High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood. If you noticed the schools are at The Oaks of Windermere are different from other Ocoee communities. However I got this from the county.

For the HOA in The Oaks of Windermere expect around $288 per quarter (3 months). It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
