The Manors Windermere Florida

The Manors is a community in Windermere Florida. The Manors would be much more widely known if there was just an entrance or community sign on Windermere Road. Instead the community opted for privacy and has only one entrance on the north side of Park Ave. The entrance is located between the Windermere Recreation Center and Windermere Elementary School.

The Manors consist of 97 traditional single-family homes. The community has no real amenities to speak of. There is no community pool or community park. Outside of the gate just about 600’ to the Windermere Recreation Center. This is a very nice lakefront park that definitely makes up for it. There is plenty of parking, scenery and great facilities.

The homes in The Manors have larger yards than many of the homes in newer communities. The neighborhood is also old enough that the shade trees have grown into what nature intended them to be. A quick drive through this community and you can clearly see why it has lasted and there are seldom homes for sale in the Manors. I will be describing the community in detail below.

Shopping and travel from the Manors. This is where I use the if it were me approach. Because sometimes Windermere Town is a little busy I would take Maguire Rd. to The Plantation Grove 2 miles from the Manors. There is a Publix Supermarket, plenty of stores, salons and a few restaurants there. This same road will take you to Ocoee and in just a few minutes you can be at Health Central South or the Super Walmart.
