Sweetwater Springs is a small private community and somewhat off of the beaten path. Even when you located it the name of the community is somewhat obscured although the entrance is visually pleasing. The main entrance is located on Miami Springs Drive on the north side of Wekiva Springs Road. This community is located on the northern portion of Wekiva Springs and surrounded by the conservation area.

Shopping from the community is only 1/4 of a mile south at a Publix Supermarket in the Shoppes of Sweetwater. Canoeing and boating are even closer if you look to the boat ramp and located between the community and conservation area.
