About Sunset Bay

Sunset Bay consists of 35 homes. There are 24 lakefront homes on Lake Down. One lakefront home to the West is on a side road and I am not sure if it is in this subdivision. I did not count it. Normally there are few homes for sale here. Sunset Bay is definitely one of those communities that has it all. Not to mention one of the best locations in Windermere. Activities, dining and entertainment are all around and within 5 minutes of your new Sunset Bay home..

Local Schools are Windermere Elementary, Chain of Lakes Middle School and Olympia High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.

Sunset Bay Market History

In the past 36 months 2 homes for sale have sold (Some homes for sale do not). Neither home was lakefront. The lowest priced home sold for $615,000 and the highest priced home sold for $750,000. The last lakefront home to sell was 4 years ago and sold for $1,250,000. The highest priced home for sale to have ever sold was $2,8000,000. However, the median sales price for the last 36 months has been $680,000 for a non lakefront.

For the HOA expect around $1800 per year. It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
