Sawyer Shores, Windermere FL and the homes for sale are 12 miles (19.25 km) West-Southwest of downtown Orlando. Sawyer Shores is actually located on the Eastern shore of Lake Sawyer and on the West side of Winter Garden Vineland Rd. There is a lot of new construction going on in Windermere. Locally it is also admired for its' good schools and the newly constructed Windermere High School which just opened.

About Sawyer Shores

Sawyer Shores consists of 32 homes and home sites. 16 homes are lakefront homes on lake Sawyer. There are a couple of project homes in Sawyer South. If you are considering a renovation or a total teardown you may want to drive through there and look. Of course you can see the homes for sale below. There are several beautiful homes there.

Local schools

Windermere Elementary, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood. Some Realtors no longer even list the schools with the listings.
