Spring Lake Terrace-Spring Lake Forest luxury home communities located on the North side of W Colonial Dr. and on the South side of Spring Lake and the Country Club of Orlando. The communities have more than one entrance and the entrances are marked simply with Spring Lake. There are small white pillars with community signs on both sides of the entrances. They are discrete.

Spring Lake homes for sale are a true find. Many people do not know the community is here. The Local lake, Spring Lake has 37-acres of surface area. There is another Spring Lake which is larger over by Lake Apopka. This area is nicer. The community has some homes that were built back in the 1920's. Do not let that dissuade you. One built in 1929 is on the market for nearly $2,000,000 as I write this. Since a lot of a homes' price is location even if a home is older as long as it is nice it has a great deal of value if the location is good. Having a lake and a golf course definitely helps. Being this close to downtown Orlando certainly helps also.

The community homes

The homes in Spring Lake Terrace range in size from 1,484 square feet to a whopping 7,542 sf. of living space. The majority of the homes were built between 1925 to 1985. There were some homes built between 2205 and 2006 but just a couple. A good indicator of a neighborhood is how many home sell per year. In this neighborhood over the last 5 years on average 5 homes per year have sold. That is higher than I would expect so there is a good chance of getting a great home in a good location.

The local area

The area around Spring Lake Terrace-Spring Lake Forest is a mixture of businesses and homes to the South. To the North you have College Park which is a very trendy area filled with homes and on street that has many different shops and restaurants on it. Spring Lake is a great community in a fantastic location. One of the reasons the location is so good is W Colonial Dr. W Colonial Drive is the road in this area for offices, shops, stores and service providers of all kinds. It has been a trade route for over 100 years. Now those residents in Spring Lake can find everything they need close to home.
