River Crest is a gated community in Sanford Florida containing 117 homes. Homes for sale are common because of the size of the community. River Crest has only one entrance and it is located on the western side of Longwood Markham Road about 7 minutes from being able to access Interstate 4.

Later as the desire for larger homes became more common the largest home 5,566 square feet was built. Still very respectable sizes for a community. Homes that have sold in the previous three years have been priced from $290,000 to $750,000.
