Ridgemoore often has homes for sale. Ridgemoore is a community of 212 homes in NW Metrowest Florida. It is located on the north side of Steer Lake Road and the west side of Edgewood Ranch Rd with entrances on both. The community is directly across Steer Lake Rd. from Metrowest Elementary School and about 6.75 miles west of the area commonly referred to as downtown Orlando Florida.
Ridgemoore is a very nice community and in a good location for those wishing to commute to downtown. The community has beautiful trees and several waterfront homes. There is a large pond on its' northern side with 25 waterfront homes in Ridgemoore.
The community was built between 1988 and 1997 and the homes range in size from approximately 1,600 sf. to 2,700 sf. of living area. Normally 6 homes sell in this community every year with prices ranging from $220,000-$340,000. The only downside is the school traffic in the morning using the Steer Lake Road entrance/exit and that can be worked around fairly easily.
Not far from this community (less than 5 min) is a Publix Supermarket at Metrowest Village and there are some other shops and service providers there. Just west is Apopka Vineland Road which make commuting to many areas outside of Metrowest much easier. If you choose to stay local, this is Metrowest and we have a great golf course and Bill Frederick Park to keep us busy. You will love it here.
Not far south you will find the best theme parks in the world. Not far east you can be in the cultural center of downtown Orlando Florida or enjoying the famous Orlando nightlife.
