Orlando Highlands   

The Orlando Highlands is a community of homes in Eastern Orlando. The Community is mingles with Lake Como and Wellborn Phillips. This a large community of homes and is not marked very well if at all. The best way to locate it is by looking on the South side of the 408 between downtown Orlando and the Orlando Executive Airport. The Airport points Southwest toward Lake Como which is where the community is.

Orlando Highlands is a good community and in a good location. If you go very far North the prices go up considerably. You can still reach everywhere you want in Orlando from here and still have a very nice home just not in a trendy zone with higher prices. The homes in this area vary a lot in age, style and size.  The homes vary in size from 700 sf. to 3,700 sf. Yes that is 700 sf. not a mistake, I was being generous and rounded up. Most of the homes were constructed between 1925 and 2017. Hard to believe but yes this is a historical part of Orlando and some of the homes are fairly old. Due to the sheer size of this community there are usually homes for sale. In the last 5 years on average 33 homes have sold every year. One of the reasons why is everything you could want is within a 2 mile radius.

The local area

Sooner or later you want to venture away from your home. either because family is visiting or you bought yearly passes to one of the theme parks. Thankfully it is only 15 minutes to Universal Orlando Resort or Volcano Bay the newest water park in the area. While you are there you can stop by one of the Major Malls in that area before you return home.
