This part of Orlando is exploding with new communities and with homes for sale. However there are not many communities like Lukas Estates. It is surprising to not see these homes behind a massive gate like you would find at Lake Butler Sound in Windermere.

The homes in Lukas Estates vary in size from approximately 2,400 square feet to nearly 4,700 square feet. The designs are gorgeous, lot sizes appropriate and as you can see above they look stunning.

The Lake

Lake Drawdy is the body of water you see in the photo. It is a 52 acre lake and surprisingly deep with a mean depth of 17 feet. Plenty of water to keep most people content and provide a beautiful water view. There are 3 communities on the lake. If you want a larger lake, Lake Pickett is just to the northeast.

Lukas Estates market history  

The first homes in Lukas Estates were built in 2002 and the last home built was in 2008. I was surprised to see the homes were not a lot newer after seeing their condition. They all seemed to look in excellent condition. In fact there have been several attempts to sell homes in the community for over $1,000,000. Thankfully there are finally many more nice homes being built in this area.
