If you are not familiar with the Butler Chain of Lakes Lake Blanche is 3000 feet to the Southeast of the middle of the Publix parking lot at The Grove Shopping Center on Apopka Vineland Rd and Conroy Rd.

Lake Blanche is a fairly small lake having just 122 surface acres or a little more than twice the size of Lake Palmer aka Lake Isleworth. It has the greatest mean depth of any lake in the Butler chain at 27 feet. That is deep for any of these local lakes. As my dad used to say. 27 feet isn't very far, but it is real deep. If you have ever swam across a lake you know what I mean.

Lake Blanche is encompassed by several subdivisions. To the Northeast is North Bay Subdivision. Then as you move clockwise you have Isle of Osprey and Isleworth. The Isle of Osprey Subdivision is on Osprey Isle Ln. Isleworth is in Isleworth. North Bay is not a gated community and the HOA is $145 quarterly. Isle of Osprey is a gated community. Its' HOA is $7,500 a year and you have to pay a maintenance fee also. Isleworth is Isleworth. If you have to ask don't look.
