Lake Sawyer is a small community consisting of just 2 streets, S Lake Sawyer Ln and Lake Sawyer Ln There is no community sign just street signs and a pillar on S Lake Sawyer LN and Winter Garden Vineland Rd. The Homes are Lakefront homes. S Lake Sawyer Ln is lakefront on Lake Sawyer. Lake Sawyer Ln is Lakefront on Little Lake Sawyer. Usually there are not homes for sale here. Windermere is famous for several things. Many beautiful homes for sale, various new shops and restaurants to choose from, its' local freshwater lakes, the Butler Chain of lakes, famous residents, great golf and the nearby theme parks. After buying a home in Lake Sawyer if you are sitting around with nothing to do it is by choice.

Lake Sawyer consists of 24 Lakefront homes. It is not Lake Sawyer Sound. Lake Sawyer (the Lake)  has 94 acres of surface area and an average depth of 16-18 ft.

Local schools

Windermere Elementary, Bridgewater Middle School and Windermere High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.
