The Lake Nona Country Club in Orlando Florida is a golfing community. Lake Nona Country Club normally has homes for sale because the community is simply so beautiful and large. The course and community are located 11.25 miles southeast of downtown community and on the southeast corner of the Orlando International Airport. Lake Nona is a 7,000-acre varied use community that falls within the city limits of Orlando. Some expect that by the 2020 census that the population may reach over 50,000. The Lake Nona region contains the country club and what is known as Lake Nona’s medical city. The area is no doubt the most rapidly modernizing one in eastern Orlando. Lake Nona has is own High school and Middle school which bear its’ name.
Lake Nona subdivision is much large than just the area around the course. Also, there is Nona Preserve on the eastern side of N Narcoossee Rd. The primary entrance to Lake Nona Golf and Country Club is on the west side of Narcoossee Rd less than half of one mile south. First let’s look at these two communities.
Nona Preserve is a community of 228 townhomes. These homes were built between 2006 and 2013 making them relative new compared to many of the homes in this part of Orlando. 38 of the homes are waterfront homes and many more are water view. The amenities in Lake Nona includes the 40,000-square foot clubhouse. There is a dining room with an extensive wine cellar, grill room, lounge and private dining suites. The is of course every golfing amenity you would expect. Men and women’s locker rooms and a golf pro shop. If you have guests you want to stay, but not at your home then there is a 18 room guest lodge overlooking Lake Nona and the 18th fairway. There is a great swimming pool, tennis, racquetball, children’s playgrounds and even an all-important boat ramp on Lake Nona. Lake Nona also has its’ own YMCA that is generously supported by Dr. Phillips charities. As you can see no matter how competitive the area gets, Lake Nona is tough to beat and will likely be on top for years to come.The Lake Nona Golf and Country Club entrance is fairly grand and noticeable. Still the community would go unnoticed if you were not looking for it. The county club actually contains 365 homes and lots. Isleworth for comparison contains 393 homes and home sites. Both are two incredible courses and great communities.
There are only 24 lakefront homes in this community. They are mostly on either Buck Lake or Lake Nona. There is one home which is on both Buck Lake and Red Lake.
