Johns Lake Estates is located on Hartle Road south of Colonial Drive. The community is about 8 minutes from the Florida Turnpike or SR 27. Johns Lake Estates is in two parts. One section is on each side of Hartle Road. Neither side is gated and both sides of this community are actually very attractive.

Johns Lake Estates neighborhood

Johns Lake Estates contains approximately 168 homes and has a boat ramp on in the eastern section. The community was started in 1993 and completed by 2003. Homes range in size from 1,630 square feet to 3,218 square feet the larger homes having up to 5 bedrooms. There are only 6 homes that are actually on Johns Lake.

This area now has several very nice communities in it. Magnolia Island and Magnolia Bay are two gated communities nearby. The building continues. The reason is the location. Most of what you need very close to your home. Not to mention the lake.

Johns Lake is a large lake but not in the traditional shape. It is a good lake for skiing but is most popular for fishing and its' beautiful shoreline. Johns Lake has many million dollar homes on its' shoreline.

Amenities and HOA

Johns Lake Estates does not have a lot of community features. No big community pool, no large children's park etc. HOA fees are about $135.00 every quarter. However if you are a pet lover review the HOA documents because there are restrictions.
