Fox Run is a mobile home 55+ community in Tavares FL. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Harris and the main entrance is on Dead River Road. Although at first glance you may think this community is land locked it is not. There are many canal front homes and the canal leads to Lake Harris which connects to the chain of lakes.
Fox Run is a fairly large community. The location is great for boaters or those who like the rural feel but convenience of living just a couple of miles from all of the conveniences we all love and have grown used to. In addition Tavares is the Lake County seat and has a decent downtown area.
Fox run has an activities center and nice waterfront pool. The community is always clean in appearance and well maintained. For those who are interested in a 55+ community which is affordable, rural and has opportunities to remain active this neighborhood is worth considering.
