Eden Isle Windermere FL is a gated lakefront community. Eden Isle is in Windermere FL on the Southeastern shore of Lake Speer. Not everyone is aware that Eden Isle exists because it is behind Merrick Landing and a lot of new construction is going on in this area. The best real estate however is in Eden Isle. To locate Eden Isle, look on the Southeastern shore of Lake Speer which is 13.5 miles West-Southwest of downtown Orlando FL. To Drive to it easily. Just exit off of Winter Garden Vineland Rd. or Ficquette Rd. onto Summerport Village Pkwy (By the Publix Supermarket) and stay on that road till you reach a round-about. The first exit is Eden Isle.
Eden Isle consists of approximately 175 homes. That is a fairly large community by Windermere standards. The community is located on Speer Lake which is a beautiful lake and consists of 233-acres of surface area. More than large enough for skiing or to even land a plane on. I lived on the lake for quite some time and eagles, ospreys and airplanes all take advantage of its smooth surface. Eden Isle has a boat ramp and so does independence but that is it. The lake is not interconnected and there’s never more than 1 or two boats on the lake.
There is also a children’s Playground near the boat ramp. Not only is this community lakefront but it has several ponds and a long canal. There are waterfront and lakefront homes to go along with many community homes in Eden Isle. There is no busy road next to it, it is a quiet area. Due to the size of the community there are normally Eden Isle homes for sale.

Eden Isle Blvd. is the road you enter the community on. There are 60 homes on this street. The first homes on the Northern side (13715-13751) are located on a small pond. Then there are 7 more overlooking another pond (13913-13943) The rest are normal community homes. Over 30 of these homes seem to have pools. That is a fluid number and could change. Eden Isle homes are traditional single-family homes. No bungalows or townhomes. The homes on Eden Isle Blvd. range in size from approximately 1584 sf. to 3,706 sf. of living area. If you are not from the US we calculate this excluding garage spaces in this country. The homes were built between the years of 2003-2004. River Fruit Ct. is a small street in Eden Isle with only 9 homes on it. The homes either back up to a preserve or a small pond. All of the homes face a small center court area. This is a nice very low trafficked street. The homes on this street vary from 1,794 sf. to 3,706 sf. of living area and were built between 2003 and 2005. One home sold in 2016 for $339,000.
Florigold Dr. Should be broken up into two sections. First the Eastern side which faces the pond. There are 10 homes that you can see the pond from. These homes in Eden Isle rarely sell. They vary in size from 2,946 square feet to 3,706 square feet of living space. They were built between 2002 and 2004. The date of construction always matters because of potential transferable warranties. One home sold in 2014 for $385,000.
The Lakefront side of Florigold Dr. in Eden Isle has 15 homes on it.13908 Florigold Dr. is not a lakefront home. It overlooks the boat ramp and the park. It does not seem to have a survey line which includes the canal. 13914-14024 seem to be lakefront/canal front. These homes were built in sizes from approximately 2,016 square feet to 4,000 square feet of living area. Most of the homes were built between 2003 and 2004. In the last 2 years 3 homes have sold for an average of $370,000+.
Earthgold Dr. is a street in Eden Isle Windermere Florida that has 44 homes on it and 2 overlook a pond. The homes overlooking ponds are 6607 and 6533. There is another pond but it is behind a fence. The homes on Earthgold Dr. vary in size from 1,536 sf. to 2,900 sf. of living area. In the last year 7 homes have sold for an average price of $275,000.
Orange Crest Dr. and Lennox Mill Dr. have very similar homes and are joined together. Their pricing will be identical. These homes vary in size from 1,580 sf. to 2,802 but there is one that is 3995 sf. right in the middle of the other homes. These homes were built in 2003.
