The area and shopping

Before we cover the community let's cover the location and shopping since we all need to shop occasionally. There is only one entrance to the neighborhood. The sign shown above is on Dalton Dr which is on the west side of Alafaya Trail  about 1 3/4 miles south of downtown Oviedo. There is a Publix Supermarket 1/4 of a mile north of the community at Alafaya Square and as usual the Publix has a lot of satellite stores, a bank and a Race Track gas station. The Oviedo Mall and Oviedo Park Crossings which is another shopping/strip mall are beside one another and just a 2.5 mile drive away. On your way there you will pass a Home Depot and access to the 417 for your longer commutes. Not bad for within 2.5 miles. 

Dunhill community

Now to the community. One thing about Dunhill is it is semi private. Since the entrance is relatively obscure and there is only one. Once you get passed the first 5 homes there is a community pool and tennis court 1/4 of a mile back into the neighborhood. The western side of Dunhill has about 30 waterfront homes on a large pond.
