Cypress Woods is a large community located in the southern parts of Kissimmee. Some would argue that it is to far south to be part of the city. That is beside tha matter for those who like the area. We are somewhat secluded but all of the modern conveniences we need are here.
Cypress Woods is made up of 6 smaller subdivisions. Since community pride may be at stake lets look at them individually. Then discuss the local area.
Banyan Cove is on the northeast corner of the community. The main entrance road is named Ficus tree Road and all of the street names here are also named after trees. There are 114 traditional single-family homes in this subdivision and there are no townhomes etc in all of Cypress Woods.
There are 29 waterfront or water view homes in this subdivision. The majority of the rest are in the traditional community setting. The homes here were built between 2002 and 2004. The largest home is 3,258 square feet.
Maple Chase is the first subdivision you cone to on your left if you enter Cypress Woods from Marigold Avenue. Very few homes come up for sale here. There are only 83 homes here but 20 of them are waterfront on the pond in the center.
These homes were built between 2005 and 2007. The largest of the homes is a 2,862 square foot home with 4 bedrooms.
If you enter the community from Cypress Parkway then the first community on your right will be the Oaks at Cypress Woods subdivision. This is a pretty large group of houses. In fact there are 125 of them. Only 13 are waterfront but all of them are on winding roads and thankfully there are sidewalks.
The largest home in this subdivision is a 4 bedroom 2,784 square foot home. The smallest home is a 1,179 square foot 3 bed and 2 bath home.
Peppertree is directly across from the Oaks at Cypress Woods. The main entrance road is Oak Branch Circle and there are 129 homes here. With the winding roads it certainly does not look like that many homes but there they are. Just under 24 of them are waterfront on a pond in the northwest corner.
The homes here were built between 1997 and 2002. As you can see there are differences in the ages of the subdivisions. The largest home is a 2,819 square foot home.
if you entered this community from the south on Cypress Parkway then this community is the second on your right. There are only 70 homes here. None of these homes have homes directly behind them. Pinehurst is a community based on a looping community road named Pinehurst Cove.
Another distinguishing thing about this subdivision is the wooded area that in encircles in the center. Many of the community homes enjoy this. 8 homes are waterfront on a pond in the northwest corner.
Tamarind Park has 171 homes in it. This is a fairly large subdivision and still laid out very nicely. There is a wooded area and two ponds but my favorite thing is there are no straight roads. All of them are at least somewhat turning
The homes here were built in 2000 and 2003. The smallest home is a 1,429 square foot home and the largest is a 2,930 square foot home with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
Local shopping is one mile east of the southern entrance to Cypress Woods. There are a lot of things there but I will only mention the Walmart Supercenter and Local Publix at The Promenade. You will love this area the people are friendly and the shops are nice and clean.
