Homes for sale in Conway FL. Conway is a non incorporated, area. Not a city but a District in Orlando Florida. It is a rather large district and has many types of homes. It is a great location if you want to be close to both downtown Orlando and some great lakes without paying a premium price like you would in Windermere. Travel times to most of Orlando's more popular attractions are still very good.
Conway is in Orange County FL. The county school systems website is at OCPS.net and they can be reached by telephone at 407-317-3200.
Lake Conway
There are two Lake Conways. Little Lake Conway and Lake Conway. If you combine Lake Conway and Little Lake Conway there is almost 3 square miles of surface area. Plenty of room for water sports. They are connected via channel and I do believe you can fit a small boat under the bridge on the channel between the two lakes. The other small lake on the Northeastern side of Conway is Lake George.
South Conway Road
S. Conway Rd. is the main road running North and South. It starts on the Southern side of Orlando's Executive Airport and runs South 6 miles until reaching McCoy Rd or the North Side of Orlando International Airport. The Southern portion of the this road is great and North of Hoffner Ave. you start seeing all of the local businesses, restaurants, stores and supermarkets. There are fitness centers and supermarkets at both the North and South ends of the road.
Overall this area is very nice. There are several parks and you do not feel like you are in downtown Orlando. More like a mid size city that has everything that you need. It is easy to learn your way around locally and after you learn the local traffic flow you can get around any issues fairly easily. Thankfully most modern phones have apps for that anyways.
