The community is located on the western end of w lake Mary Blvd where you will find the main entrance which is Alaquah Lakes Blvd. There is one other entrance further south on the western side of Markham Woods Rd. This entrance is Alaqua Drive. Not as grand but still gated and very attractive from the outside of the community. As of June 2018 there are approximately 766 homes in Alaqua Lakes.

Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes  

The Heathrow County Club consists of 2 main courses. The Garl Course named after it's designer Ron Garl is an 18 hole course. The host of 9 US Open qualifiers is a Par 71.

The second course is the Fazio Course. Also named after it's designer which was Tom Fazio. The Fazio is a 18 hole course which has tee options reaching up to 7,160 yards.
