This is not a waterfront community Alabama Drive is between it and the lake although you can not enter the parking lot from it. The main entrance to the Alabama is on Mayfield Avenue. These streets are old and beautiful  as you will see when you drive them. Once you get used to the area you will like them and the slower traffic.

Actually the Alabama Condo is between two lakes. To the south is Lake Osceola which makes it at least a little easier to find on a map. Palmer Avenue is the main road that passes between the lakes and just south of this community/building.

Shopping and commuting

Palmer Avenue will take you east to downtown Winter Park to you southwest or eastward  where in under two miles you are at the best local shopping. By that I mean groceries and some associated stores and restaurants at the Aloma Shopping Center. If you are planning on any long distance commuting and using Interstate 4 or the 417 you are located between them. Expect a 10 minute drive to Interstate 4 or 15 minutes to the 417.
