Adair Park is a community of less than 100 homes located between Lake Adair and Lake Ivanhoe. These lakes are about 4 miles North of Downtown Orlando on the West side of Interstate 4. Another good locator if you are from or are familiar with the area is look at the South side of College Park to find this community.
The location is incredible and becoming more and more popular. The local lakes and walking trails provide beautiful scenery and the old red brick roads remind you of times past. It is very easy to forget those times in this part of Orlando. You can round a corner and face several million dollar homes in numerous locations.
Adair Park is in a very nice area of Orlando. Commuting is obviously easy with I-4 being so close and there are several options nearby for any type shopping you may want. Lakes are always plentiful as are the golf courses in Florida. The closest golf course is the Country Club of Orlando which is just a mile or so to the West.
Adair Park has only averaged 5 home sales per year over the last several years. Needless to say that is very few. Luckily there are similar communities nearby. This part of Orlando is actually pretty neat. The style of home is quite varied and many home owners build to suit their taste. You may see very modern designs on the same street as much more traditional homes It is much more the location that people buy than the home sometimes. The Older more traditional homes are slowly disappearing. Not necessarily a bad thing. Sales prices have ranged from slightly over $200,000 to $700,000.
