Windermere Heights is located on the South side of Conroy Rd and about 8 miles East Southeast from downtown Orlando. Specifically it is halfway between South Apopka Vineland Road to its' West and Dr. Phillips Blvd to its East. This is actually a very good location to buy a home. Within a 5 mile radius you have Universal Resort, I-4 and Turnpike access. Also fantastic local shopping, dining, lakes and the best golfing in the United States. Not that you have to go to a specific course or lake because there are many. Several of those local golf courses have homes for sale right beside their courses.

Local Schools for Windermere Heights

The schools are all good also. Right now you have Palm Lake Elementary, Chain of Lakes Middle School and Olympia High School. However as any good realtor would advise you. Before you buy a home, or even put in an offer to buy a home always confirm this. I can do that for you.

There is no HOA showing on the properties for sale. That makes them an even better buy if you are looking at monthly expenses.

As a side note most of the homes were built before 2000. Also there is a newer subdivision that looks like part of Windermere Heights but it is not. The newer community is on the Southern side. 

Windermere Heights has larger yards than most communities in Dr Phillips. When you buy a home in this subdivision you are going to have more privacy and yard than most people. If that is what you like this may be a place to buy that dream home.
