Isleworth in Orlando Florida always has luxury homes for sale. Isleworth Orlando Florida is actually much more than a community of luxury homes. It is one of the finest golf courses in America. If you are not from this area you may recognize it as a small town in Western London England but I am not referring to that one. This particular Isleworth is located just outside of Orlando in the 34786 zip code. It can be easily located on a map by looking approximately 9.7 miles West-Southwest of downtown Orlando Florida. The community is located South of Lake Butler and Lake Down.
Isleworth (the land) was originally owned by Sidney and Joshua Chase who purchased the land just after the Civil War. The area seemed to be more resistant to the occasional freezes that central Florida experiences and the Chases nicknamed the property the “Isle of Worth”. The town in Europe is commonly pronounced “Izle-worth”. Where the community here is pronounced more similar to its’ original nickname. The descendants of Sidney and Joshua sold the property to Arnold Palmer. Arnold Palmer and some developers designed and developed a large course that was specifically designed for the more affluent member. Later in the early 1990’s the Tavistock Group purchased the course and began developing it into the magnificent community that it is today.
Currently Isleworth spans approximately 600 square acres. It is a closed club open to members only. To inquire about membership, visit the club online at Isleworth.com/membership. There are approximately 393 homes and potential home sites in this community. Lake Nona also a Tavistock property contains approximately 365 homes and home sites. The homes are blended into the natural surroundings and the stunning 18-hole championship course. There are several lakes which also complement the homes. Most of those lakes are members of the Butler Chain of Lakes. Isleworth has lakefront homes on the Southern Shore of Lake Butler, Lake Louise, Lake Isleworth (Palmer), Lake Chase and Lake Blanche. The Isleworth amenities look over Lake Tibet’s Northernmost shore. The community also has homes on Lake Bessie but that lake is not amongst the Butler Chain.
I will be covering Isleworth Windermere Fl. by the street. All of the information I give will be the same I would share with any client looking to potentially invest in a home in Isleworth. The numbers will be approximate because they will be from public records. Some homes will be omitted from the calculations because of lack of the records but most of the homes will be considered in the calculations. I will be giving the approximate square footage of the homes on each street. Their dates of construction and sales history. By the time you complete this page you will know more than most Realtors do about the community. My hope is that you consider us if you are looking to purchase a home or sell a home in Isleworth or the Windermere area.
