Heritage Bay Orlando FL is located inside of Phillips Landing. After you enter Phillips Landing just take your first right and you are in Heritage Bay. Heritage Bay is in Orlando Florida. The part of Orlando that it is in is known as is Dr. Phillips.
Heritage Bay is 10 miles (16 km) Southwest of downtown Orlando. It is West of Big Sand Lake and East of South Apopka Vineland Rd. Just under 1 mile South of West Sand Lake Rd you will see Phillips Landing and I will meet you there. I can schedule us to see several homes for sale in that area if you prefer.
Dr Phillips is famous for several things. Beautiful homes for sale, many available shops and restaurants to choose from (Restaurant Row), its' local freshwater lakes, great golf and the nearby theme parks. Locally it is also admired for its' quality schools. When you are looking at houses for sale anywhere in the Dr. Phillips area you may rest assured of this. If you are sitting around with nothing to do it is by choice.
Heritage bay consists of 135 homes. 19 homes could be considered waterfront homes because they overlook ponds. There is a park area in the middle of the community with a tennis court, basketball (half court) and a children's play area. You can also take a walk in the evening to the pier on Big Sand Lake. It is not far and the area is nice.
For the HOA expect around $100 per month. It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
Local Schools are Bay Meadows Elementary, Southwest Middle School and Dr. Phillips High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone.
