Windermere Oaks is 8.5 miles (13.7 km) West-Southwest of downtown Orlando. Sunset Bay is located on the Southern most portion of Lake Down in Windermere Florida. There is a lot of new construction going on in Windermere. That of course means there are many new homes for sale. I can schedule us to see several homes for sale in nearby areas if you prefer.

The Town of Windermere 

Windermere is famous for several things. Many beautiful homes for sale, various new shops and restaurants to choose from, its' local freshwater lakes, the Butler Chain of lakes, famous residents, great golf and the nearby theme parks. Locally it is also admired for its' good schools and the newly constructed Windermere High School. When you are looking at houses for sale anywhere in the Windermere area you may rest assured. After buying a home in Windermere Oaks if you are sitting around with nothing to do it is by choice.

About Windermere Oaks

Windermere Oaks consists of 13 homes on Jennifer Ln. There are 7 lakefront homes on Lake Down. Normally there are  not any homes for sale here. Windermere Oaks is one of those communities that has it all except fame. Not to mention one of the best locations in Windermere. Activities, dining and entertainment are all around and within 5 minutes of your new Windermere Oaks home..

Local Schools 

Windermere Elementary, Chain of Lakes Middle School and Olympia High School. Always confirm the schools with the county when looking at a home for sale. Information changes. If it is important to you I will check it. Or I can search for homes that are for sale by school zone. I am very familiar with the county website. I do not ever use the MLS for finding out which schools provide local education for a home or neighborhood.

Windermere Oaks Market History

One lakefront home sold for$1,375,000 and two others have expired (failed to sell) numerous times. One of them 5 times and the other 3 times. The Owners will not come off the price.6 homes are not lakefront. One of them is currently for sale. There is a lot of competition in it's price range in this area.

For the HOA expect around $400 per quarter. It will vary and there are restrictions. I will get you all the information you want upon request.
