Lake Butler Information and lakefront homes for sale. First the information. Lake Butler is the chief among the Butler Chain of Lakes. It has 1,579 acres of surface area and is approximately 7,433 million gallons. Most importantly it is the prettiest and if you get lake water in your mouth and everybody eventually does, you don't have to get rushed to the hospital.
Yes there are Lakefront homes for sale in Isleworth. Occasionally lakefront homes on Lake Butler are for sale. They will be on this page at the very bottom if they are for sale. Isleworth is a Gated Subdivision and favorite golfer’s destination in Windermere Florida. Isleworth covers I believe over 600 acres (640 in a square mile) and was originally designed by Arnold Palmer. There is everything you could and should expect back behind Isleworths' guarded and gated entrances. Fine Dining, watersports and a very nice fitness center etc. This is to be expected with home prices etc as high as they are in Isleworth. Exclusive indeed.
Lake Down is number two in the Butler Chain of Lakes. Located just to the East of Windermere Florida, West of the Florida Turnpike and loaded with Lakefront homes. I also know that there are several buildable lakeview/lakefront lots if you want new construction on Lake Down.
Although not as well known as Lake Butler. Lake Down is a spectacular lake that looked a beautiful shade of blue today. I know it was a reflection off of the sky but I stopped and took several photos it looked so good. What a place to own a lakefront home............
Southwest Lake down as defined by me and shown on the map. I just found it easier to describe the vast amount of subdivisions and gated communities this way. There are 68 lakefront lots and properties currently surveyed in the Southwest portion of Lake Down. Well over $100,000,000 worth of homes. I drew the line starting where Park Ave meets Maguire Rd by Windermere Elementary. Then proceeding East over to just South of where Hempel Ave turns North Straight down to Isleworth Country Club Dr and Conroy Windermere Rd. Then just went West back to the origin.

SImply the best lakefront properties in Florida. There are other lakes here. Just not on The Butler Chain of Lakes.
Lakefront on Lake Roberts
Lake Roberts is one of the most Northern Lakes in The Butler Chain of Lakes, It is encompassed mostly by Lake Roberts landing with 11 lakefront homes/properties on the Northeast side. Waterford Pointe on the South and West sides which has 41 lakefront homes. Finally The Windermere Club Lake Roberts Court which controls the lower 1/2 of the Eastern side with 12 lakefront homes. The Northeastern 1/2 is mostly owned by a private corporation.
There are just 40 homes on lakefront lots on Lake Whitney. There are 10 ponds and Lake Rhea which is for all practical purposes a pond. When you view the gallery of Lakefront homes below look at the street name. If the street is Lake Whitney Drive it probably is at least lakeview and is most likely lakefront. Doing this eliminates human error.
Lake Isleworth is a very small lake of approximately 56 acres and a maximum depth in the 20 ft range. It connects Lake Louise to it's North to Lakes Tibet and Chase through channels. No bridges to pass under just powerlines as you take your boat to Lake Tibet. Access comes through owning one of the less than 20 homes on Lake Palmer or by paying a fee to use the boat ramp at Keenes Park.
Lake Louise in Windermere Florida is located South of Lake Butler and North of Lake Isleworth. It is a 151 acre lake approximately 1 mile in length.So more than long enough for a good jet ski run or even to ski on. Probably why the lakefront homes on Lake Louise have docks.
The Lakefront homes in Lake Tibet are in in 2 Cities. Orlando claims Lake Tibet starting at the Northernmost channel from Lake Chase to Lake Tibet running Southeast all the way around the Eastern side......................
I combined Lakes Sheen, Pocket and Little Fish because they are not large lakes and do not have many lakefront homes come up for sale. However there are some tremendous homes on these lakes. Let's look at the total numbers of Lots available per lake and then all together totalled.
Lake Sheen has 45 Lakefront homes and 1 lot on it's Eastern Shore. 35 on its Western shoreline and 11 on its' Northwestern shore. That is a total of 91'ish homes and lots. I say that because the way some lots are surveyed. I do not think they should be called lakefront. But I do not make those rules...........
Lake Blanche is located to the Northeast of lake Chase and to the Southwest of the Grove Shopping Center. If you are not familiar with the Butler Chain of Lakes Lake Blanche is 3000 feet to the Southeast of the middle of the Publix parking lot at The Grove Shopping Center on Apopka Vineland Rd and Conroy Rd.
Lake Chase is Located 3/4 of a mile West of South Apopka Vineland Rd and about 1 1/4 South of Lake Down. The Northern and entire Western sides are Isleworth lakefront homes and the course. The Eastern shore is a combination of The Isle of Osprey and Keene's Pointe.
