Moss Park Orlando FL homes for sale   

Moss Park, this page is a combination of Moss Park, Moss Park Commons, Moss Park Landings, Moss Park Ridge and Moss Park Reserve. The communities are about 3.25 miles East of Lake Nona which is on the Southeast side of the Orlando International Airport.  

Homes For Sale in Orlando FL

Moss Park is a subdivision name given to homes in all of the Moss Park neighborhoods, This is common and sometimes has to do with the homes paperwork and other times just an error by the listing agent. If you see an address on the listing that places it inside of another community go by the address and not the subdivision.

I can explain the differences in person. Yes sometimes subdivisions can be next to each other have have different fees and rules. You can confirm the public schools by clicking here and searching any address.

Moss Park Landings  

Moss Park landings is a smaller community on both sides of Wewahootee Rd. The community is just North of Moss Park Road and South of the train tracks. There are approximately 90 homes in this neighborhood and these are not homes with large yards. There is one community pond and a nice children's playground not far from it. The community has nice signs and it looks like a fine community to live. 

Moss Park Reserve  

Moss Park reserve is a gated community. It is located on the West side of Moss Park Road and it's community entrance is on Wittenburg Way. When you pull up to the entrance you immediately notice the stonewall and black Iron gate. The community sign is noticeable but not to large and it is located on the right hand side.

The community is a lakefront community on the Eastern shore or Lake Hart. Lake Hart is a 1,880-acre lake. That is a big lake by central Florida standards. There are also 4 large ponds in the community so there is plenty of water to view. The communities homes have larger yards than the yards in the other Moss Park communities. The homes here range in size from 2,581 sf. to 9,317 sf. which explains the larger yards. The Homes were built mostly between 2004 and 2009. However there are some new homes in the neighborhood also. The difficult part is catching one for sale. In the last 5 years only 4 per year have sold and that includes new construction homes. Some homes here have sold for over $1,000,000.

Moss Park Commons  

Moss Park Commons is a townhome community on the West side of Moss Park Road. The community is visible from the road although the actual entrance you will most likely use is on Lake Hart Drive. This is a very attractive townhome community and also has some very nice amenities. There is a community pool, children's playground and nice park in the center of the community. Not all townhomes are the same in Orlando so I will add some specifics about the neighborhood.

The townhomes vary in size from 1,270 sf. to 1,988 sf. Eleven hundred square feet used to be a very common size. So almost 1,300 is actually fairly nice if properly laid out. Two thousand square feet is a fantastic townhome. This community was built in 2006-2007 and still looks new. In the last 5 years 33 have sold which is about average for a community of approximately 90 homes.

Moss Park Ridge  

Moss Park Ridge is a community on the North side of Wewahootee Road. It is a non-gated community of nice homes with a decent set of amenities. There are 161 homes in Moss Park Ridge. There are also two basketball courts and a very nice central park area. Complete with a beautiful pergola and a children's playground.

The community was built between 2006 and 2009 and the homes vary in size from 1,480 to 3,500 square feet of living space. In the last 5 years 78 homes have sold which is a little higher than I would expect. The homes and community look nice and it is pleasant to drive through. There are 4 large ponds with fountains providing water views. Commuting from here is fairly easy as in all of the Moss Park Neighborhoods.
