Lancaster Park is a rather large community of homes on the eastern side of, Lake Lancaster in central Orlando Florida. To the east is hourglass lake, to the south across East Kaley St. is Boone Highschool and to the northwest about 1.5 miles is the Orlando Skyline we have all seen either in person or online. This is a really great location and normally there is at least a couple of homes for sale here.
This part of Orlando has been occupied for a long time. Some of the homes are older, and some homes are drastically remodeled or even brand new. The location drives the interest here. Most of the older homes are in good shape as well. Many of the homes built in the 1950's and 1960's will be priced over $500,000. The homes may be stunning, they may just be in a great location. We owned a 1950's home and loved it. The oldest 2 homes in this community were actually built in the 1920's.
Some of the older homes are as small as 1000 square feet. There are some homes here as large as 7,455 square feet. That is a huge home. This community has it all and is worth investigating. As you can see in the photo above it is a beautiful area. In the previous three years 22 homes have sold here. Prices have ranged from $240,000 to over one million dollars. No matter what price you pay for a home the general location is still just as convenient and area just as beautiful.
