The homes for sale in Fontana Estates Orlando FL are located 17 miles East of downtown Orlando and about 18.5 miles from downtown Titusville near the Eastern coast of Florida. So almost in the middle. The community is just to the South of Lake Pickett. Lake Pickett is a 760 acre lake meaning its' surface area is a little over 1 square mile. The Mean depth is 12 feet which is fairly shallow for a lake in Central Fl.
Most if not all of the homes in Fontana Estates Orlando FL were constructed in 2012-2014. This is a relatively new community. There are several newer communities near Lake Pickett. If you have noticed the 420 is just to the North of Fontana Estates and between it and the lake. This is actually a very nice road and it will take you to East Colonial whether you travel East or West. East Colonial or State Road 50 is great for commuting East or Westward. County Rd 419 will take you to Publix Grocer which is 3 miles away also on SR 50.
