Clermont is a city in Lake County. The city is approximately 22 miles or 35 Kilometers west of what is commonly called downtown Orlando Florida and. It is the same distance southeast of Leesburg Florida. As of 2016 Clermont's population was 33,529. Nearly 10% of the overall population of Lake County Florida. The City is 11.5 Square miles.

The Three largest lakes are Louisa,Minnehaha and the Minneola. The smaller connected lakes are lake Dixie,Crescent,Susan and Winona. There are other lakes which are connected but these are the most well known and commonly passed through.
Lake Louisa is the largest of the lakes with 3,572 acres of surface area. Although shallow with an average depth of only 10 feet and a max depth of around 16. It features Lake Louisa State park which is found on its' southern shore. On the northern tip you will find Crooked Creek. Crooked Creek does have a public boat ramp and passes through Lake Susan into Lake Minnehaha.
Lake Minnehaha has a surface area of 2,410 acres and a maximum depth of 18 feet. Lake Minnehaha is a beautiful lake with a developed eastern shore. On the eastern shore is S Lakeshore Drive. To the northwest is Cypress Cove and swampland unsuitable for development. Cypress cove is where you can pass through to lake Minneola.
Lake Minneola is the deepest of the chain at 18-30 feet. There is a boat ramp on the south-southwestern side. The lake has about 1,890 surface acres and gets to be the namesake for Lake Minneola High School.Downtown Clermont Florida is on Minneola's southern shore.

Green Valley Country Club. A 18 hole par 72 course. 6645 yards with rolling terrain and scenic views of Lake Minneola.
Kings Course at Kings Ridge Golf and Country Club. A 18 hole par 71 course. Once again that Clermont rolling terrain, well placed hazards and 6,629 yards of play to keep you focused. This is a semi private course. Also a large community of homes.
Legends Golf and Country Club. Another beautiful course with a grand entrance. Located across SR 27 from Kings Ridge this is an impressive pair of courses for Clermont. Legends is a public course with 18 holes, par 72 and 6,911 yards of play/struggle.
Ridge Course at Kings Ridge. A smaller and easier course in Kings Ridge. 18 holes, par 57 with just 3,584. A pleasant relief for newer or more mature players in the area.
Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club. 18 holes, par 71 and 7,001 yards. Have fun.
Swiss Fairways Golf Course. 18 holes, a par 70 and 6,725 yards. Also a public course.
